My Food Plan For The Year

Recently I got my saliva tested for a list of the food I can properly assimilate. It’s been a while since I did one. Since I’m feeling better I thought I should be careful not to trigger any negative symptoms due to food allergies.

Thursday I started a fast, today is day 3 and I feel really good other than a little headache and my sloth like movements. My plan is to fast until I can’t anymore or thru Wednesday, whichever comes first. I have done this type of fast before I stopped steroids, but not in the last year since I began withdrawals. I was excited because I finally felt like I was ready to clean house.

When I end the fast then I will spend about 4-8 weeks being raw vegan which will be easier now that I have my food list.

June will mark 2 years that I have been vegetarian. For the last month or so though I have been craving meat for the first time. So I have decided to wean myself back on to the meats my saliva test says I can add, but probably not until the end of the summer. I will transition raw vegan to vegan to vegetarian and then to mild carnivore. (If it messes me up, then I will go back to vegetarian and maybe just stick to poultry/meat broths.)

I only became vegetarian due to how terrible my health was, it was one of the few things that gave me relief from a lot of my symptoms. It’s amazing to me that after 9 months off of topical steroids I’m starting to crave meat again. It’s actually exciting.

To be honest I’m really craving this awesome braised lamb shank that I make. I would have said it was just because I am fasting but I have been thinking about it for a few weeks now.
